…I have used Woodland Scenics products for war games terrain and tables for some time now and have always felt your products are the best on the market. I'm glad I found your site, it will make it much easier for me to get the supplies I need now. Thanks…

…I have just discovered your products in a model shop in a local town, here in the UK. I bought two packs of Foliage Clusters to use to make some wargames scenery for fighting 'Lord Of The Rings' battles, which my two sons and I have begun enjoying. I had built a cave in a rocky crag, using cork bark for the cliff walls, and although I was happy with the result, it looked very gray and sterile. However, the Foliage Clusters, placed as shrubs and climbing bushes over the cliffs, has totally transformed this terrain piece - it looks so realistic now. Needless to say, bushes are springing up all over my terrain…

...I only use Woodland Scenics in my MechWarrior: Dark Age CMG terrain. The products are consistent (foliage and turf colors), the tree-armatures are sturdy and the Water Effects is absolutely amazing. Thanks to you, my stuff looks so good, I'm starting to sell it. And thanks again for making the best...I always get compliments about your Water Effects on my terrain...

"...We have always, and still find, your products to be the single most useful thing to make my modeling reach for the next step. Please keep up the good work and do not ever go away. By the way, your snow is simply outstanding! Your site is good and easy to use..."

"... I purchased your scenery book a few weeks ago. I am getting ready to start making a battlefield for a Civil War scenario in 10mm. I purchased some Realistic Water and Plaster Cloth to get started. Also some ground cover paint..."

(Earlier Letter) "...It's going to be interesting. Just bought my scenery book from the new Hobby Town USA in Parker, Co. But we also have Caboose Hobbies up in Denver. That place has everything about Trains. Last night when my wife saw what I was doing, she was confused at first with the newspaper, but she was amazed at how 3D it started to look. I need to build up my rolling hills a little more and again I can see its pretty simple to just add more newspaper and plaster cloth to accomplish this.

FYI - I have always used your ballast and turf for the bases of my painted troops. In fact, some guys in our Wargame Club never flocked their bases. I always told them that the final touch that really brings out the model was to flock them. So I convinced them to give me their armies and they couldn't believe the results. So simple to do, white glue with a little water added, apply to the base and shake in a Flocking bowl of turf. Then I always shoot some Flat Lacquer to make sure it all sets properly.

In the pic you can see my Mongols on the Right. They are flocked with a mix of green and soil turf with a little small Ballast added.
